Multiple Exposure With Flash and Slow Shutter Speed

A dark room is required for the picture to work with the flash and aperture.

Aperture is also needed and the most important for the exposure and because it records the flash exposed.

Direction will be needed to tell the subject how to interact with the camera’s flash.

Subject someone or something is necessary for it.

Clarity for the light room would make it look more crispier look.

Lighting is important because it will depend on the on the final image

A grey or black background will help especially when the subject will be moving around to different positions.

A strobe or flashgun is needed to help have the figure have a good texture with it.

A tripod helps with the ISO and the shutter speed which should be set to 2-6 seconds.

An extra pair of hands isn’t required but it could be helpful when taking these pictures

Iconic Images & Lighting

The light source is directly placed his face which creates a shadow on the side of his face. The best way to recreate this image would be to set up the lights exactly how they were as this picture was taken. The camera is directly placed in front of him. Edgar has his body shape turned to the left facing away from the camera.

The light source is the ceiling light, which is placed above the subjects. The best way to recreate this would to have a light placed directly above their heads. The camera location in this picture is placed in front of the subjects.. They have their body’s turned away from the light which creates a better shadow shown on their body’s.

Joiners

I think its important to capture movement for a joiner because you get to capture each different movement from just one picture.

I think joiners give an illusion because it might just be one picture but there is way more than just one picture.

To arrange a joiner physically is like photo shop joining because it actually feels like your actually doing it.

I think the a pro for photo shop would probably have to it would take less time to make. A con for physically making it would be more expensive because you would have to print all those images you took. Also, it would take a long time to put together.

I prefer a more broken up image because with a more organized image it all just look like one picture, but with a broken one it would actually look like many other pictures.
